As a consultant, David emphasized solving core people problems rather than symptoms, viewing technology as an enabler or inhibitor. Since 2008, he has worked with Dave Nichols to develop systems for accelerating business value, with cybersecurity as a cornerstone of quality and value delivery.

Dave Nichols is the Executive Director of the DVMS Institute, dedicated to helping organizations create, protect, and deliver digital business value through innovative programs and guidance. Drawing on experience from his years on U.S. Navy submarines, where he mastered complex systems and high-performance teamwork, Dave transitioned to a successful career in software development and service delivery.
